Where the market lives
25% of Egyptian posts name a place. Greater Cairo leads, as expected — but Dakahlia (Mansoura) is the Delta's surprise machine hub, ahead of Alexandria.
1.8% of posts are from Sudanese traders using Egyptian groups, followed by posters from Saudi Arabia and China. Prices and locations elsewhere in the hub are filtered to Egypt.

Which governorates ask for equipment rather than offer it?
Requests are posted most from Cairo, Matrouh, and Aswan. In Matrouh, posts asking for machines outnumber posts offering them. Across the Delta, offers outnumber requests about 76 to one. That gap is a mobilisation question more than a supply one.
Does EXON deliver outside Cairo?
Yes. EXON's units stand across 4 governorates, and machines are mobilised to site from the nearest yard; the delivery cost follows that distance.
Why do so few posts have a location?
Only 25% of Egyptian posts name a place at all, because sellers expect the phone call to settle it. The map is therefore a map of the posts that said where they were, not of the whole market.

Method
- A post is placed only when its text names a city, district or governorate. Place names are matched in Arabic and English.
- 16,103 posts resolved to a governorate. Posts naming Egypt without a place, or naming a place outside Egypt, are excluded rather than assigned.
- EXON's own map comes from the asset register: each unit's yard or project site, resolved to its governorate. Public listings name the area, never the project.
- Governorates are listed only with at least 25 located posts, so no governorate is characterised by a handful of ads.
