A week is quoted as 7 days at the day rate. There is no weekly discount in the rate card, so a week is exactly seven days of hire — mobilisation, operator and fuel are settled on the quote, not here.

Questions this page answers

How much does it cost to rent a wheel loader in Egypt?
EXON lists a wheel loader at EGP 3,900 a day, which is EGP 27,300 for a one-week hire. That is the list rate before mobilisation to your site, the operator and fuel are settled on the quote.
How much does it cost to rent a generator?
The median generator in EXON's register is EGP 1,225 a day, and the range runs from EGP 600 for a small site set to several thousand a day for a 500 KVA plant supply. Size is the whole story: the rate tracks KVA almost linearly.
Is there a discount for renting by the week or the month?
Not in the published rate card: a week is quoted as 7 day rates. Longer hires are priced on the quote, so ask rather than assume the list rate is final.
Are these market rates or EXON's own rates?
They are EXON's own published list rates, from the register behind the rental catalog — not a survey of what other companies charge. The market-facing tabs in this hub are separate and say so.
What is the minimum hire?
One week. Rates are published per day so the arithmetic is visible, but the catalog quotes a week as the unit of hire.

Method

  • Source: EXON's own asset register — the same file the rental catalog is built from — not a market survey and not a competitor comparison.
  • 334 of 357 live units carry a published day rate. The 23 quoted on request are excluded from every median and range rather than being estimated.
  • A week is the day rate times 7: the register carries a day rate only, and no weekly or monthly discount is published. Monthly rates are not shown because no monthly figure is stored.
  • A class is published only with at least three rated units, and a size band only with three, so no median stands for a single machine.
  • List rates exclude mobilisation to site, operator, fuel and VAT, all of which are settled on the quote.
